La Fundación Guerreros Americanos («nosotros», «nos» o «nuestro»), una organización sin fines de lucro 501(c)(3) exenta de impuestos, fundada y organizada bajo las leyes del Estado de Kansas, se dedica a servir y honrar a los guerreros estadounidenses, incluyendo veteranos, personal militar en servicio activo y sus familias. 1. Purpose of Donations

All donations received support our mission to provide advocacy, support programs, and community initiatives for American Warriors and their families. Funds may be used for operational costs, program expenses, or other purposes consistent with our charitable objectives, as determined by the American Warriors Foundation.

2. Tax-Exempt Status

The American Warriors Foundation is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations made to us are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. federal law, subject to IRS rules and limitations. We process all donations in accordance with IRS regulations.

3. Donation Methods

Donations may be made through the Website via secure online payment forms or other methods as specified (e.g., mail or in-person events). Online transactions are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe), and their terms of service and privacy policies also apply. We do not store your payment information directly.

4. Acknowledgment of Donations

For donations of $250 or more, we will provide a written acknowledgment in compliance with IRS requirements, including our name, the donation amount (or description of non-cash contributions), and a statement regarding whether any goods or services were provided in exchange. For donations under $250, your bank or payment record may serve as proof, but we will provide a receipt upon request.

Receipts will be sent via email to the contact information you provide, typically within 3 days of your donation.

5. Non-Refundable Donations

All donations are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or approved by the American Warriors Foundation in exceptional circumstances (e.g., duplicate transactions due to technical errors). If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us at amwarriorsfdn@outlook.com within 7 days of the transaction.

6. Donor Privacy

We value your privacy. Information provided during the donation process (e.g., name, address, email) will be handled in accordance with our                          ,  and will not be sold, traded, or shared with third parties, except as necessary to process your donation or as required by law.

7. Restrictions on Donations

We reserve the right to refuse or return any donation at our sole discretion, including but not limited to donations that violate U.S. federal or Kansas state law, conflict with our mission, or come from sources we deem inappropriate.

Restricted or conditional donations (e.g., funds designated for a specific purpose) will be honored only if we explicitly agree in writing prior to the donation. Otherwise, all donations are considered unrestricted and may be allocated as needed to fulfill our mission.

8. Third-Party Payment Processors

Online donations are facilitated by third-party payment processors. These providers may charge processing fees, which will be deducted from your donation unless you opt to cover them during checkout. We are not responsible for errors, outages, or disputes arising from these third-party services—please refer to their terms for resolution.

9. Compliance with Law

All fundraising activities, including donations solicited through the Website, comply with the Kansas Charitable Organizations and Solicitations Act (K.S.A. 17-1759 et seq.) and applicable U.S. federal laws. We are registered with the Kansas Secretary of State as required for charitable solicitation, and our federal EIN is available upon request for tax purposes.
